Omelet
Jonathan has acquired a new nickname... Omelet.
A few days ago, it might have even been while we were still in the hospital, Simon sat down next to the baby and me... Jonathan had just had a massive diaper explosion and Simon looked around, sniffed and said to me,
"He smells like an omelet."
LOL!
Sometime yesterday, while changing a poopy diaper, I started calling him Omelet and it quickly stuck. Now all of us are calling him that. In fact, Tom may have even replaced his originally intended nickname of "Fin" (as in French for "End"/last/The End etc... ) with Omelet at this point.

Love the nickname Omelet! But this is coming from a mom of "squirrel" and "nut nut". Hope it sticks!
Too cute! Can we hear other names that were on the list, or is that off limits, just in case???
As for the other message, yes - you will fit back into the routine soon. It's hard, especially with experiencing first grade at the same time!

lol katie. I'm the first one to admit i feel mostly done but not 100%... tom, on the other hand shoots me death glares whenever i bring this up. if he has anything to do with it, Jonathan is, indeed, FIN. lol.
